Biography
Chantel has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She started her journey in Continuing Healthcare Education (CHE) in 2016 at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Her first introduction to CHE, was preparing MGMA’s ACCME pre-application for Continuing Medical Education (CME). With her help, MGMA gained provisional approval to offer CME credit in 2018. Chantel became a leader in MGMA’s educational department and grow MGMA’s educational opportunities by expanding their continuing education credit to now offer on average six different types of CHE credit per program. In 2019, Chantel single handedly prepared MGMA’s ACCME Self Study and Performance in Practice Review. Currently, Chantel has taken on a new role with the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine as one of their program managers where she hopes to continue making a difference in the CME community.
In 2017, Chantel joined the Colorado Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (CACME). In 2018, she volunteered on CACME Annual Conference Committee and was elected as the secretary on the CACME Executive Committee (EC) Board for the 2018-2019 term. When the elected Vice President stepped down for the 2018-2019 term, Chantel stepped up to help fill this role. She took the lead in planning the 2019 CACME Annual Leadership Conference where she secured their first sponsorship and first exhibitor for this program. Currently, Chantel has taken on the role of CACME Executive Committee President for the 2019-2020 board term.
